Biden ignores reporter questions after son Hunter defies congressional subpoena
The Biden campaign has not responded directly to questions surrounding Hunter Biden’s decision to defy a congressional subpoena.
The campaign has, however, repeatedly reiterated that the controversy surrounding Hunter Biden is a distraction meant to interfere with the 2020 election. Joe Biden has also called the allegations of wrongdoing against Hunter “purely political” and baseless.
Joe Biden has also pledged that he and his family will comply with all appropriate legal and ethical obligations during his presidency.
