Trump blasts Kerry’s climate activism for ‘destroying our country’ in Iowa town hall: ‘He has to be stopped’
President Donald Trump has lashed out at former Secretary of State John Kerry for his climate activism, calling it “dangerous” and “foolish” and saying it is “destroying our country” at an Iowa rally on Friday. Trump accused Kerry of being a “shadow diplomat” for his participation in the Paris Climate Agreement, which he pulled the United States out of in 2017. Trump also attacked Kerry for his public efforts to push other nations to remain in the agreement. “The Paris Accord is a flawed deal that does nothing to keep our air and water clean, but hurts American workers and taxpayers. John Kerry has to be stopped,” Trump said.
