FBI whistleblower calls House GOP ‘soulless demons’ after voting to give the agency a new $300 million HQ
The whistleblower, Robert MacLean, expressed his frustration and disappointment on Twitter following the House GOP’s vote to give the Whistleblower agency a new $300 million headquarters. MacLean referred to the GOP as “soulless demons,” a rebuke of their decision to prioritize spending taxpayer money on a new building when the agency has yet to receive additional funding from Congress to help protect and defend whistleblowers and their rights. He called for Congress to prioritize properly resourcing the agency, rather than investing in unnecessary spending for a new building.
