Trump files motion to recuse DC judge presiding over 2020 election interference case
On May 5, President Donald Trump filed a motion to recuse District of Columbia district judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly from an election interference case related to the 2020 U.S. election. The motion alleges that Judge Kollar-Kotelly has exhibited bias against the president through her rulings in similar cases and should therefore not be allowed to preside over this case. The judge has yet to respond to the motion.
