Fox News Poll: Voters divided over what US should do in foreign conflicts
The results of the Fox News poll show that Americans have a divided opinion on what the US should do in foreign conflicts. While some respondents felt the US should intervene and provide leadership in global conflicts (34 percent), a nearly equal proportion felt that the US should stay out and allow other nations to resolve issues among themselves (32 percent). When it came to the Iraq War specifically, Americans were even more split, with 36 percent of voters saying the US should have stayed out, and 33 percent saying the US should have gotten involved. Among the results, there was also a sharp divide between those who approve and disapprove of President Trump’s handling of foreign policy, with 43 percent approving and 51 percent disapproving.
