Fund Manager WisdomTree Reportedly Refiles Spot Bitcoin ETF to SEC

WisdomTree, an American asset management company, has reportedly refiled a spot Bitcoin ETF with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The firm has allegedly taken steps to address prior concerns raised by the regulator concerning its earlier effort to launch a Bitcoin ETF. According to filings, the ETF is called WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust with JB13 LLC as a sponsor. While the first filing was made on November 2nd, this one was submitted on December 2nd. WisdomTree has also requested that the SEC form a BZX rule to enable its ETF to be listed. If approved, this would be the first spot Bitcoin ETF to launch in the US. Observers believe that the new filing is more comprehensive than the previous one, addressing the key concerns raised by the SEC. It remains to be seen if this filing will be approved or not.
