Biden says Dems, GOP ‘remain committed’ to bipartisan solutions following McCarthy ouster
Following the ouster of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) as House Minority Leader, President Biden said he remains committed to working with Democrats and Republicans to find bipartisan solutions to the nation’s problems. In a statement, the president said, “Congress should be a place of compromise and progress, working together to solve our challenges and to improve the lives of all Americans. As we begin a new Congress, I remain committed to working with Democratic and Republican leaders alike to find solutions that make a real, positive impact in the lives of Americans.” Biden also expressed his gratitude to McCarthy for his efforts to serve the American people and his best wishes for success in his future endeavors.
