Comer and MTG confront DOJ on whether Hunter Biden violated sex trafficking laws

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has not addressed the claims that Hunter Biden may have violated sex trafficking laws. However, the Department has confirmed that it is looking into financial matters related to Hunter Biden. Representatives from Congresswoman Virginia Foxx’s office (R–NC) and Senator Mike Lee’s office (R–UT) have asked the DOJ to investigate any potential violations of the Mann Act, which makes it a federal crime to transport someone across state lines for the purpose of prostitution or any other “immoral purpose.” Congressman Ralph Norman (R–SC), has also asked the DOJ to investigate potential money laundering and tax fraud issues related to Hunter Biden. The DOJ has not issued any statements related to its investigation of Hunter Biden, but it is reportedly looking into potential financial matters and corruption allegations.
