Fire consumes oil depot in St. Petersburg
On June 9, a major fire broke out at an oil depot in St. Petersburg, Russia. The fire spread rapidly and was visible from miles away. Unseasonably dry and windy conditions worsened the spread of the blaze. Nine fire trucks were sent to the site to battle the flames, and the fire was eventually brought under control. Thankfully, no one was injured in the blaze, and authorities are currently investigating the cause.
