Disney and Charter reach deal to end cable blackout in time for ‘Monday Night Football’
Disney and Charter have agreed to end an 11-day cable blackout in time for part of the Monday Night Football game. The deal will allow Charter to broadcast ESPN, ABC and other channels that had been blacked out as the two companies negotiated a new carriage agreement. Charter subscribers will be able to watch the 8:15 p.m. ET start of the Kansas City Chiefs-Los Angeles Chargers game on ESPN.
