At least 86 killed after earthquake in northwest China
At least 86 people were killed and over 500 injured after a 6.6 magnitude earthquake struck the Minxian and Zhangxian counties in Dingxi, Gansu Province in northwest China on Monday. According to the emergency monitoring center of the provincial government, nearly 1,500 homes have also collapsed in the earthquake zone. Emergency aid is already on its way and local authorities are working to assess the full extent of the damage.
