DOJ prosecutor accused of limiting questions on Biden during Hunter probe expected to appear for deposition
Arthur Gary Blasey Jr, a former U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) federal prosecutor who allegedly limited the scope of questions asked in an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden, is expected to appear for a deposition for House investigators in the coming weeks. Blasey is accused of limiting the scope of the federal inquiry into possible money laundering by the Biden family, and is alleged to have instructed prosecutors to only ask questions related to tax issues and not ask about Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings. Blasey was appointed to his role in the DOJ by former Attorney General William Barr. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.), who has been leading the investigation, is seeking to find out who instructed Blasey to limit the scope of the investigation into the Bidens, and now has an opportunity to question the prosecutor under oath.
