Ex-employee charged with stealing $22M from Jacksonville Jaguars for luxury shopping spree
Former Jacksonville Jaguars ticket office employee Michael ears has been charged with stealing over $22 million from the team for a luxury shopping spree and other expenses. The team discovered the theft after an audit in February 2020. He allegedly wrote fraudulent checks from the Jaguars’ ticket office, which he cashed in for himself and used to buy cars, jewelry, and a home. He has been charged with fraud, identity theft, and money laundering. He is currently being held without bond as he awaits trial.
