Worldcoin Foundation Launches $5 Million Community Grants Program’ Wave0′
The Worldcoin Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and educating about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology, recently announced the launch of its new Community Grants Program, Wave0. Wave0 will provide up to $5 million in grants to approved projects to help accelerate the development of the Worldcoin protocol and the Worldcoin ecosystem.
The Community Grants Program consists of two waves. Wave0, launched on September 30th 2020, will offer grants of up to $50,000 for projects such as Worldcoin liquidity solutions, merchant adoption solutions, promotional campaigns, and software/framework updates.
Projects that meet the Wave0 criteria and are approved will receive financial support and resources, as well as access to the Worldcoin Foundation’s Business Accelerator Program. Additionally, approved projects will be showcased in Worldcoin Foundation-led events and given the opportunity to present their project at international blockchain conferences, exchange listings, accelerator programs, and other prominent industry events.
